The BENCHS Rummage Sale is our largest fundraiser of the year! All proceeds from this event will be used for the daily care of the homeless cats and dogs at BENCHS. Help us spread the word – click here for a Downloadable Flyer.

DONATIONS📚🥣

Rummage Sale Donations – When you do your spring cleaning, keep BENCHS in mind for donations! We cannot accept items at the shelter due to limited storage. So drop donations at the Mankato Curling Club (600 Hope St.) during specified drop off times. Volunteers will be available to help unload and set up. 
Donation Times: Mon., Tues., and Wed. (May 4, 5, & 6):  8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Only at the Mankato Curling Club

Accepting: Toys, Books, Games, Tools, Pet Supplies, Decor, Kitchen Items, Small Appliances, Lamps, End Tables, Pillows, Purses, Jewelry, Crafts, Towels, Blankets, Rugs, etc. No soiled or damaged goods.

Not Accepting: No Christmas Trees, Exercise Equipment, Major Appliances, Clothing, TVs, Computers/Accessories, Child Car Seats, Entertainment Centers, Large Furniture, Beds, Couches or Baby Furniture. There is no outdoor plant sale this year, but some house plants are accepted.

BENCHS reserves the right to refuse some items.🐾

Come shop for a paws-itively great cause!🐾 Most items are available for a free-will donation—give what you can and feel good doing it.

Bring your own bags or boxes if you’re able, and get ready to treasure hunt! 
Cash, Check, Credit Card, and Venmo are accepted for your convenience.💵💳

Thursday & Friday (May 7 & 8): 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Last year’s sale was a huge success thanks to the support of our many volunteers! Volunteers are needed for set-up, during the sale, and tear down.

Set-up dates are Monday, May 4 to Wednesday, May 6
Sale dates are Thursday and Friday, May 7 and 8, and Saturday, May 9
Tear-down will take place after the sale on Saturday
