BENCHS is again participating in the annual Give to the Max giving event taking place this year starting on Nov. 1st and culminating on Thursday, Nov. 20.

In just 11 months, BENCHS has come so far — and it’s all thanks to the incredible generosity of caring people. By the end of this year, more than 900 animals will have come through our doors, each one finding safety, compassion, and hope because this community believes they deserve it. This includes veterinary care for every animal that is sick or injured.  All animals are vaccinated, chipped and spayed or neutered. Each day every animal is exercised, fed and cared for. This is costly. We need your help to continue to save lives.

As Give to the Max Day comes to a close, we’re sitting at $51,000 in donations — just $29,000 short of our $80,000 goal! We need heroes today to close that gap.

Reaching this goal means starting 2026 strong, ready to launch new strategies that will transform our lifesaving work — like hiring a full-time veterinarian and vet tech to perform spay and neuter surgeries in-house. This step will cut medical costs, reduce stress on our animals, and save countless hours on the road.
Every time BENCHS answers a call, reunites a lost pet, welcomes a surrender, or provides food through our pantry, we’re making a difference — for one animal, one person, and one community at a time.
