DESCRIPTION:BENCHS will be kicking off our very first Rockin’ for Rescues Concert with Silent Auction event. The Lost Walleye Orchestra Trio will entertain us with music at Hooligans on August 26\,2023. This event will feature a silent auction with many items up for grabs. We are still securing sponsors and donations for the auction. Email Kristin at media@benchs.org or call 507-625-6373 to find out how you can help!\n\nThere will be no cost to enter\, however free-will donations will be collected. A full bar and food menu will be available for purchase through Hooligans. Funds raised during the event will be used to care for the cats and dogs\, provide medical care and then get them adopted into good homes.\n\nPut it on your calendar today!

DESCRIPTION:BENCHS has been asked to be the main nonprofit at the 25th Annual RibFest\, August 3-6\, 2023! The four-day fest will once again feature the best ribs from across the country and the finest in regional and national musical entertainment. It will take many hands to make this year’s RibFest another success and we are honored to have been chosen! \nIf you are attending RibFest this year don’t forget to stop at the BENCHS booth and vote for your favorite ribber! Every dollar donated goes directly to treating and caring for the animals at BENCHS!      $1 = 1 vote = $1 donated to BENCHS!  \nWe have filled all of our volunteer positions – thank you! DESCRIPTION:If your garden is lacking something and needs a lift\, the BENCHS Plant Sale will be the perfect place to buy new plants for your garden and help the animals out at the same time. We always have a great selection for our returning customers.  \nThis sale is a fundraiser for the daily care of the homeless cats and dogs at BENCHS. One way we raise those funds is when supporters share their extra garden plants. Donations can be dropped off at BENCHS beginning May 28th. Please mark them clearly with type of plant and color.  \nDo you have any extra flower pots? You can bring them to BENCHS door #3 and we will use them for our June sale! \nAll proceeds go directly to caring for the animals at BENCHS.

They are teaming up with a BUNCH of local businesses to host an amazing event for ALL dog owners and dog lovers.\nThey will have a bunch of pet friendly activities\, vendor booths\, and auction items. \nMay 27th\n1pm-4pm\nTHE 507 PAW-TIO \nWe hope to see you there!! \nUPDATE: The 507 is inviting patio-friendly dogs\, unfortunately\, BENCHS is advising that guests do not bring their dogs to the event. Due to the increasing number of cases of canine influenza in Minnesota\, BENCHS is asking our community to follow the recommendations set by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health. Allowing dogs to congregate increases the risk of infection and hastens its spread. We would still love to see you and have your support at these events\, but right now\, the best way to support animals in our community is by keeping them safe and healthy.
